Our friend, Evan Moon, started experiencing numbness in his left arm a year ago. No doctor could determine what was going on, maybe muscle spasms, maybe overuse?? On May 12, 2016, the Brookwood ER discovered a brain tumor and on May 16, 2016, he had emergency brain surgery at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, GA.
Today Evan is living with his parents, in the Stone Mountain, GA, area, while undergoing radiation and chemotherapy, working through intense physical therapy to regain feeling and movement in his left side, and working to regain his speech, writing and reading. He has a long road and currently requires round the clock care. His mom has been unable to work as she spends her time transporting him to doctors appointments and therapy, preparing his meals, dispensing medication, helping him with therapy exercises, and everything in-between to meet his immediate needs.
All funds that come into Grace Klein Community, Inc. for Evan’s batons will be used to pay vendors directly for medical co-pays and deductible costs, insurance, utility bills, therapy equipment, etc. to provide emergency care for Evan and his family through this unexpected situation.
