“This month, we had the privilege of hosting Nathaniel Kodavatikanti, one of our Indian ministry partners. He has been in the US visiting his sister in Baltimore and his travel plans allowed him to spend some time with all of us in Birmingham. While he was here, we were able to introduce him to ministry leaders, friends and family members. He spoke to school groups and small groups and worshiped with us on Sunday. One of the highlights of his trip was serving with the Grace Klein Community Food Delivery on Saturday morning. Nathaniel was pleased to see so much food going to friends in need, and he enjoyed getting to be a part of it.

Many of you have been a part of our events and ministry activities, and we are happy to report that Nathaniel’s family and ministry are doing very well. He sends his thanks for your prayers and your generous gifts. We are happy to report that God has been faithful to meet their needs and to grow their ministry during the past year. Since Pastor Chandra went to the Lord in December of 2016, his wife, Manjula, and their grandson, Krupa have been continuing his work. Nathaniel’s ministry to children with HIV is flourishing, and they have begun to supply food to HIV+ widows as well.

We are praying now for direction on how God will lead us to come alongside Madhuri’s Mission in 2018.  We would like to invite everyone into one immediate need where we can be praying and giving:

In May, Nathaniel and Krupa will be hosting around 100 young people for 10 days at Grace City (where GKC helped dig a well in 2016). The youth will gather for intensive missionary training so that they can return to their villages and share the gospel with people who have never heard the name of Jesus. Our goal is to help purchase supplies and food for these children and help arrange transportation for some who cannot afford to travel to the teachings. We are praying about the total fundraising goal for this need as we are not certain how much God is asking us, as a community, to invest at this time.

However, we believe that God is asking us to join hands with Madhuri’s Mission and so we appeal to you to pray and give as God leads.
