Floodgates

As Grace Klein Community continues to grow, so does our dire need for helping hands around the office. As summer approached, we felt the Lord tell us to simply “ask.” Our theme for June and July is “Summer Serve,” encouraging folks to reach out to serve alongside us with the extra hours they might have to share over the summer. “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and…Keep Reading

Bold Vulnerability

Grace Klein Community creates many different intentional gatherings to provide opportunities for members to laugh, grow, serve, pray, and worship together. Our events give opportunities for members to live life together. A special favorite, ladies nights! A time for women of all ages to let go, laugh a little, cry a lot, and just be free to share their hearts without the sense of judgement from the world. The Lord…Keep Reading

5 Loaves and 2 Fish

At the beginning of April, two serve days were on the calendar. Two. Perhaps we thought we would not have sufficient help for the month ahead… God had other plans. As each day of April unfolded, so did the surprise calls of news that more churches and schools wanted to get involved with various Grace Klein Community serve projects. With all that God continues to bring our way, a serve…Keep Reading

Be a Missionary

On April 23, 2018, we were invited to FBC Helena to share at the Tables of Love Dinner. Members of the church decorated each table with intentional bible verses and themes as an encouragement to all attendees. Dinner was served by men from the church. Worship was led by missionary couple Robert and Holly Hope and Jenny Waltman shared how we are all called to be missionaries. A generous offering…Keep Reading

March “Madness”

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” – Isaiah 43:19 The Lord is indeed doing a new thing! We could not have anticipated the busy month ahead of us as March approached. In the crazy, we are hopeful. From meetings out of state, event planning and food drives,…Keep Reading

Remember Our Smallness

Mighty Oaks grow from small little acorns. Many days we need to remember we are little acorns and God is seeking to grow us, not just our children, into mighty oaks. We are all growing and He is not finished with us.  The more we learn to appreciate learning, change, growth and trust, the more unending are the possibilities in which God may choose to use our lives. One such…Keep Reading

A Different Kind Of Gift

Grace Klein Community strives to be active in the local business community.  One way we stay involved is participating in events hosted by both the Hoover and Vestavia Hills Chambers of Commerce. October 2017 Serve Days

In mid October the sound of young voices and laughter filled the rooms at Grace Klein Community as energetic homeschoolers and sweet cheerleaders came together to serve. Mighty Oaks Homeschoolers volunteered their time to paint beautiful pictures and uplifting scriptures on food boxes. What a blessing for our food box recipients! A group served downstairs sorting fresh fruit for a church who then gave it out to people in their…Keep Reading
