Cornelius and Primadonna Ngosa

IMG_3474Cornelius and Prima recently got married in November 2014 in Jeffrey’s Bay, South Africa where they serve as missionaries at The Leadership Experience (LXP). They met for the first time 20 years ago, but had no idea that they would end up as spouses.

Born and raised in Zambia, Cornelius is the sixth born child of eight siblings while Primadonna is the third from a family of five.

In 2007 Cornelius attended The Leadership Experience.

“LXP is a non-profit, non governmental, servant leadership organization. It was established in 2006 and is design to disciple and equip emerging leaders ages 18 and above whose motivation is more than the profit, fame, position and power that is often associated with successful leadership. As such, LXP is, at its core, a program focused on character formation and servant leadership birthed out of the values of transparency and brokenness healed and redeemed in Christ Jesus who Himself is our greatest example of true leadership.”

The following year he joined the LXP staff and was seconded for a church planting course in Cape Town.

Growing up impoverished and missing a chance to go into one of his country’s prestigious schools, Cornelius grew from his earnest desires for life-long learning to never stop believing that nothing is impossible. Hunger and starvation could not deter him from sharing the highest marks in public school in his seventh grade. He is a firm follower of Jesus and steady in his walk with other believers. His calling started shaping at 12 when he was mocked by friends as a saint and was stoned by friends in a pit to test whether he would die for Jesus.

IMG_3544Since 2007, Cornelius went to Zambia on holiday every December. These visits created opportunities to be deliberate about connecting with young people on matters effecting his country and the continent of Africa – particularly leadership. It was during one of those holidays that he reconnected with Primadonna after eight years. Two years later, Primadonna attended LXP and the following year she joined staff.

IMG_3458Primadonna connects people from different nations with the opportunity to voluntarily serve at LXP under the Interns Department which she heads. Primadonna is certified in Business Accounting under the Chartered Institute of Management Accounting (CIMA). She aspires to further her studies in this field. Her dream is to make a significant long-term contribution to the Economic and Leadership Development of Africa through her knowledge and skills.

Nothing breaks Primadonna’s heart more than seeing a child who cannot live out their dreams due to limited resources.

Primadonna was born and raised in Zambia, Africa. She grew up in a Christian home with both her parents, 3 siblings and extended family. She attended and international Christian boarding school where she was privileged to gain exposure to other cultures and nationalities. At age 12, she received salvation and arose to walking deeper in biblical truth. She is passionate about God using her story of redemptive love to bring healing and restoration to broken and hurting lives.

Cornelius and Prima combine their years’ vast experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams across cultures to form a dynamic couple that is able to deliver a wealth of lessons, knowledge and Godly wisdom to people of all ages. Cornelius has served at LXP as Administrator, Program Manager, School Dean and has carried out significant roles including teaching, discipling and mentoring both staff and students. He is a gifted teacher of the Word with an apostolic calling.

Primadonna has an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit. She is very sensitive to the Spirit with a pronounced sense of discerning spirits. Her strength is restoration. She has a forte for deep, personal connections with a desire to build genuine Jesus-centered relationships.

Together, Cornelius and Primadonna run a children-focused ministry under LXP which was formed 4 years ago to create eternal impact on the Child of Africa. The ministry’s vision is zero illiteracy in Africa. The couple believes in the efficacy of education. They implore integration of music and literacy as a tool to engage, equip and transform individual children first and eventually their communities.
