Wanting to have a positive impact? Make new friends? Share love with strangers? Come join Grace Klein Community!! We have an increasing need for volunteers to meet the increasing needs related to COVID-19.

We currently have 2 programs running which provide a SAFE way to help others in this time of desperate need:

1) Food Distribution Drive-thru – Distribute food at our facilities or by delivering to the doorsteps of high-risk people

2) We Sew Love – Produce face masks for use in medical and other essential facilities

Food Distribution: Drive-thru Team

  • Direct drive-thru traffic
  • Continuous disinfecting of facilities
  • Unload, move and organize food supplies
  • Package food into boxes for distribution
  • Distribute food to people via distribution drive-thru’s

Food Distribution: Delivery Team

  • Package food into boxes for distribution
  • Deliver food boxes to high-risk people

We Sew Love Masks: Supply Team

  • Pickup new materials donations and deliver to distribution sites
  • Pickup completed face masks and deliver to distribution sites

We Sew Love Masks: Processing Team

  • Remove fabric seams (if necessary), iron and fold everything flat for cutting
  • Deliver completed bundles to distribution sites

We Sew Love Masks: Cutting Team

  • Cut materials into face mask pieces based on instructions
  • Bundle into groups of 10 for the Kit-Making Team
  • Deliver completed bundles to distribution sites

We Sew Love Masks: Kit-Making

  • Package nose-wires and fabric into bags of 10 as “kit”
  • Deliver completed kits to distribution sites

We Sew Love Masks: Sewing Team

  • Stitch face masks based on the approved instructions
  • Bundle completed face masks
  • Deliver completed kits to distribution sites

If you have the desire and ability, you can perform all the above steps from material pickup to mask delivery

We always need more frozen meals to families in urgent need.  Please consider signing up to purchase and deliver a frozen meal to a family in need.
