Rachael Cannon – Business Development
Growing up in Hoover and graduating from a local Christian school, I never imagined that I would end up hungry and sleeping in my car in the same area of Hoover almost 20 years later. Addiction and all of its ugly counterparts had consumed me and I was eating out of dumpsters in Patton Creek. About 2 years ago, I finally surrendered to God’s will for my life. He has healed me from the inside out. His blood has set me free from all addiction and rejection and even condemning myself. He has even given me a new heart, and it’s filled with a deep love for His sons and daughters. I want to give people hope that Jesus truly has come to set us free from poverty, racism, religion, addiction, mental illness and anything else that continues to oppress His darlings. “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free…”– Galatians 5:1.
I heard about Grace Klein Community and I was so excited to see the hands and feet of Jesus at work in the very same area where I was starving to death, physically and spiritually. We exist as believers to share in His divine nature, and in turn to share the message of hope to those who have little or none left. I am so thankful and honored to be a part of this amazing team and to love on people the way Jesus does.
