City on a Hill

  • by

When everything rational and prudent collides with all things crazy and faith-filled…another community house is born.

On July 27, 2018, Grace Klein Community closed on a property in Hoover, AL. We began work immediately on much needed repairs to restore this home for the vision God has given us.

What will this home be used for?

  • Worship and Prayer
  • Intentional Meals
  • Encouragement
  • Single Mama Support
  • Christian Life Coaching
  • Place of Respite

Who will live in the home?

A couple from the community will reside in the home and serve as official hosts for community outreach.

How can you get involved?

Come serve at anytime by sharing your skills such as:

  • Cleaning
  • Demo
  • Trim
  • Drywall finishing
  • Painting
  • Yard Work
  • Pressure Washing
  • Tile Installing
  • Electrical

If you as an individual, family or group (young or old) would like to come serve, please email or private message us on Facebook.

*no kids under 9 unless supervised by parent/guardian at all times.

Consider sponsorship of the materials needed for a specific room, or sponsor a ceiling fan, paint, a bathroom faucet etc.

Here’s what we are praying for:

Know anyone that has skills or financial resources that would be interested in supporting this project? Please send us your referrals.

How do I give towards this project? (Memo: Community House #2)

We love y’all! We look forward to this adventure and how God will blow our minds as He meets the needs of this home. We give this home to God and pray that He uses the home 100% for His Glory.

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” – Matthew 5:14 – 16
