Grace Klein Community creates many different intentional gatherings to provide opportunities for members to laugh, grow, serve, pray, and worship together. Our events give opportunities for members to live life together.


Annual events include:

Camping Week – families camp together at a local state park during the Memorial Day week period, allowing any family to experience simple delights of hiking, canoeing, swimming, smores, sleeping in a tent and camp fires. Over 100 people come each year to enjoy one another, explore, experience God’s creation and share meals together.

Baptism services – worship times by creeks or lakes that allow new followers of Jesus to profess their faith in Christ in front of community members that love and support their decision to know Jesus

Mercedes Marathon pickup – volunteers walk behind the Mercedes Marathon runners picking up discarded clothing, other volunteers wash the clothing, and then the items are given to families in need locally and around the world.

Mission Trips to our ministry partners – members visit our ministry partners around the world for encouragement, support and spiritual growth.


Quarterly events include:

Networking for a Cause – bringing business leaders together to collaborate, connect and serve the community together

Agape Feasts – intentional dinners to reflect and remember the goodness of God upon our lives; everyone brings something to contribute such as a song, prayer, story, poem, scripture, etc. to encourage the other members

Cultural gatherings – celebrate and appreciate other cultures, how they worship, the food they eat, the things they value, etc. to grow unity, appreciation and education in our community


Monthly events:

Family Fun Nights – supporting local restaurants, raising awareness about Grace Klein Community and providing a place where members can come together for encouragement, questions, discussion of the word and sharing of a meal.

Worship Nights – special gatherings, held at announced locations, with ministry partners to sing and worship the Lord together, providing an opportunity for a musicians of the community to all contribute together

Food Delivery – outreach opportunity for community members to serve families in our community via delivering food to families and building intentional relationships with the families they serve

Serve Days – many of our church, school and business partners contact Grace Klein Community to design and develop specialized serve days for their group


Weekly events:

Monday Night Prayer – a time for members to come together to share a meal, worship, study the Word and pray together

Taco Wednesdays – another time in the week, at a different location, for members to come together to share a meal, worship, study the Word and pray together

Food rescue from donors in the community – members volunteer to pickup donated items from multiple donors that partner with Grace Klein Community, current pickup days are Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.


Daily events:

Give and Take Room – a share room where members can serve, share, give and take to care for tangible needs of the community, providing household items and furniture for graduates of partner rehabilitation programs, and providing items for emergency situations such as fire loss, abusive situations and refugees.

Pick up and delivery of donations – men and teenage boys are able to serve the community by lifting, loading and unloaded needed items within the community, providing opportunity for members to share their time, trucks and trailers to serve.

Chickens – volunteers and staff care for the community chickens, cleaned the coop and gathering the eggs to share with families in the community.

Garden – volunteers plant, weed, harvest and maintain the community garden to share food in the community
