Forever Family Update – Ludwig Family

Ludwig Family“It started to feel familiar…the wait. I was reminded of our infertility struggles each time we tried to add to our family. We have faced many obstacles and Jesus has been victorious every time. We have been blessed with four children despite hardship, and God’s unfailing love has been evident with each triumph. Our adoption journey began in 2012 and as time went on I know many wondered if it would ever happen. I wondered if it would happen. I cried out to God on many occasion. I was losing hope and like a shepherd searching for that one missing sheep, I was tired. I knew with my whole being that God had called us to adopt, but I couldn’t do it on my own.

JesseIn 2015, I asked Jesus to take away the desire to complete our family through adoption or to please bring an opportunity. As in Ephesians 3:20: “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,” God is able to do more than we can imagine. He not only brought us an opportunity, he brought us to our beautiful son. Jesse (means “gift” in Hebrew) Lewis Ludwig was born March 22, 2016. He is a gift from our Heavenly Father and we are so in love. God is faithful, trustworthy, amazing, and His timing is best. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

Our adoption will be finalized in October 2016, however due to some unexpected legalities, finance is still due for our adoption. We are so thankful for your prayers and support, and would love to encourage you to continue to pray for us as God places us on your hearts.
