“God placed the dream of adoption in our hearts before we even met. We didn’t know what this would look like for our family or when it may happen, but we were eager to pursue it when the Lord made the time clear.
Within the first couple years of our marriage God placed a hand-full of relationships with single moms, who found themselves in crisis pregnancy, in our lives. We had the humble opportunity of walking with these mothers, some of who choose to parent, and others who made the hard decision of choosing to place their child with an adoptive family. Little did we know, the Lord was using these relationships as a piece of how He was calling us to domestic adoption.
Here we are! We are currently in the process of becoming home study approved and hope to be adoption ready in early 2017. This dream of adoption has served as a tangible reminder for us of the adoption into God’s family we experience through Christ’s redemptive work. We are excited for the privilege of walking into this long awaited desire, and eager to meet the little one He has for us.”
