A note from community friends, Rusty and April Palmer:
Hey friends-
We wanted you to know our friend, Ms. Ethelyn Cleveland, or Duckie, as we called her, passed away this past week. We were just notified by her sister last night. She had been in poor health the past several months. She suffered her 5th stroke the end of August, and was just released from the hospital last Monday. We were able to bring her home from the hospital and have precious prayer time with her, as well as lots of hugs and love, last week before she died on Wednesday.
We do believe that she had surrendered her life to Christ and trusted Him as her Savior! Her family is trying to hold the funeral this
weekend. Please pray for us as we help with the funeral arrangements, mourn the loss of a friend, and celebrate with her family the healing that the Lord has done in her life.
Please pray that God would provide the neccessary funds to bury her body. Duckie’s family is about twenty-two hundred dollars short of what is needed.
