Book Club: Can You Drink the Cup? by Henri Nouwen
Henri Nouwen’s final book forces us to ask ourselves the same question Christ asked His friends James and John. Henri uses the metaphor of holding, lifting, and drinking the cup, to dive into the basics of a spiritual Christian life. In many ways, Henri reflects on the question Christ asks all of us; do we have what it takes to follow Him? Can we carry our cross? Can we drink the cup? In this small group, we will ask ourselves this question.
