HOME UPDATE

BIRTHDAYS- Anna, a cheerful 12-year-old girl, eagerly anticipates her birthday, just like any other child. On December 16th, 2021, she celebrated turning 12, and everyone was excited to indulge in delicious birthday cake and treats. This birthday holds special significance as it marks the final birthday celebration of the year 2023.

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS- Christmas celebrations are joyous and overflowing with affection. To mark the occasion, we organized a Christmas party on the eve of December 24th and each child was given a Christmas gift. With their usual enthusiasm, the children took charge of the entire program which featured beautiful poems, lively dances, and heartfelt songs, all in honor of the birth of Christ.

DECEMBER 2023 SCHOOL REPORT

In December, the school had few activities as it was the month for the pupils’ break. The school closed in December 2023 and was set to reopen in February 2024. However, there were still some activities that took place after the closure. On the 1st of December 2023, the school organized a Christmas party that brought joy and happiness to the children. They received presents and had a delicious meal, along with performances such as poems, cultural dances, and contemporary dances. Additionally, the seventh-grade students in examination class had their final exams in December and achieved positive outcomes. Kwathu School achieved a 100% pass rate at the recent seventh-grade examination. A huge shoutout and thanks to our hard-working teachers for this great achievement.

VOLUNTEER ENGAGEMENT

In our organization, we were pleased to receive four volunteers, with two coming from Austria and the other two from Italy. This diverse group of individuals was warmly welcomed and joined us in our mission. Their combined efforts and different perspectives are sure to contribute greatly to our cause.
