Briarwood Christian School, 7th & 8th grade English classes, will be serving at Grace Klein Community and Liberty Church on Tuesday, April 14th as a day of service.
With 24 7th graders, and 24 8th graders, along with 10 chaperones, the helpful hands of Grace Klein Community volunteers would be appreciated.
Some of the activities include:
- Assisting with donations in the Grace Klein Community Give and Take Room
- Mixing and Labeling Laundry detergent
- Gardening (weeding, turning garden beds, adding fresh compost)
- Wood chopping
- General Office clean up
- Creating scripture index cards for nursing homes as a means of encouragement
- Making frozen meals to bless families in need
The service day will be taking place from 8:15am till 2:15pm and the assistance of volunteers is needed.

- 8 packs of flour tortillas
- 24 cans of Rotel
- 24 cans of cream of chicken
- 10 packs of Mexican shredded cheese
- 15 large cans of chicken
- 24 cans of cream of mushroom
- 6 rotisserie chickens
- 4 large bags of chicken, cooked and shredded
- 10 roasts
- 5 Minced garlic
- 5 jars soy sauce
- 5 ground mustard
- 10 packs of thin spaghetti noodles
- 2 bags of onions
- 10 packs of grated cheddar cheese
- 10 jars of mushrooms
- 5 boxes of gallon size freezer bags
- 30 square disposable silver cooking pans
- 2 gallons milk
