Dossier photo Creekmore familyCody and I have been married for 5 years. We were high school sweethearts and from the very beginning of our relationship, we knew God was preparing our hearts for adoption. We married after college and spent three years praying over, discussing and investigating how adoption looked for our family. God has removed every barrier along the way in His perfect timing. It has become very apparent that if we place our trust in our Father to provide, he will meet all our needs related to bringing a precious child into our family, as He does in all other areas of our life.

Through a series of events that the Lord certainly orchestrated, we fell in love with India and found that we met all their adoption requirements. We started on our ‘official’ adoption journey in the early spring of 2014, though we had been researching and praying for many years prior. We were matched to a precious little boy in December of 2014 and are anxiously awaiting his arrival home. Please pray with us that God softens the hearts of all involved in our process so that we may bring our son home very soon and love him abundantly as the Lord has loved and blessed us!

God has so graciously provided us with the friendship of the Speeg family, who are also adopting and are jointly hosting this fundraiser sale.

We are so grateful for Grace Klein Community- what a blessing they are to donate items we can sell to help bring our son home!

“But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts crying, “Abba! Father!” So you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then and heir through God.” – Galatians 4:4-7

Hunter and Carly adoption photoHunter and I have known for quite some time that adoption was a part of our family. We desire to follow the role of our Father who so graciously adopted us to be heirs of His own. He models adoption to us and He tells us to care for orphans. Although there are many different ways orphans can be cared for, we are extremely excited that the Lord has called us to adopt from Honduras, and we pray that we can share the Love that He has shared with us.

Right now we are finishing up the home study part of our process. We hope to be finished with that within the next two months and to get busy on gathering paperwork for our dossier! Right now we are extremely busy with not only paper work, but also fundraising! We are beyond thankful for all of the support that we have been shown, and are extremely thankful for Grace Klein!

The joint yard sale fundraiser benefiting the Creekmore and Speeg families will be held on September 26, 2015 from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the open lot at this address:

5654 Crestwood Blvd
