Galleria Woods Retirement Home – Christmas Wrapping

  • by

Grace Klein Community is so thankful to have help wrapping gifts at Christmas. Gift giving takes all of us. Many community members donated gifts for children and adults. We had bins and bins of those gifts that needed to be wrapped. We needed help. Every year we need help.

For several years, the residents of the Galleria Woods Retirement Home help wrap the gifts. What a huge contribution they are to all of us. We are thankful for their enthusiasm, attention to detail, and love they share in wrapping the gifts.

After their work was done, the gifts were distributed to many food recipient families and to some of our awesome city sanitation workers. Unfortunately, we did not have enough gifts contributed to care for the AIDS patients.

Let’s consider how we can love more in 2016. The sanitation department was completely shocked to be remembered, even though our sharing was a drop in the bucket. They have thousands of employees that handle our garbage. Isn’t that humbling?!

What if Grace Klein Community loved on the sanitation workers MORE in 2016?! How cool would that be?

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works.”
Hebrews 10:23-24
