The contribution was given to sponsor food boxes delivered to over 200 families in the month of May. Along with this donation, several Interlinc Mortgage employees are now volunteering with Grace Klein Community on a regular basis. We appreciate and are encouraged by the financial and volunteer support from the local Interlinc Mortgage office, the Interlinc Family Foundation, and their joint commitment to partner with us in making a difference in our local community and the world at large.

The Interlinc Family Foundation was founded in January 2012, by James and Elizabeth Van Steenhouse, together with enthusiastic support of the employees of Jim’s company, Interlinc Mortgage Services, LLC. The foundation rewards initiatives, both existing and proposed that provide our youth, particularly underprivileged youth, adolescents, and young adults with a sense of hope and belonging, while helping them to realize their own self-worth. The vision focuses on teaching our youth to “fish for life” versus “feeding them for a day.”

Each and every one of us possess the capability to impact the future every day! The foundation endeavors to instill these values in our youth, because they see investment in youth as paramount to creating long-term community improvement. The foundation’s support is geared towards organizations that effectively utilize volunteer resources and can incorporate the direct involvement and volunteer participation of Interlinc Mortgage employees, in the states where the company conducts business.

Not only does Interlinc Mortgage Services, LLC, provide volunteer and financial support, they are also a sponsor of our Networking for a Cause quarterly gatherings, and provide awareness about Grace Klein Community through press releases, television news stories and through various social media outlets. We feel the support of Interlinc in every way possible. We have been adopted into their family!
