“We have been married for a little over 5 years and we are walking through the process of adoption. We have always felt like we would adopt, as we both made it clear that we were open to adoption early in our marriage. Over the past couple of years, we began to have a desire to grow our family. God slowly revealed His plan for us and has led us to our adoption journey. We are truly excited about bringing a child into our home through adoption and can’t wait to see how God works throughout this journey.
We are adopting domestically and are currently completing our home study. We have one session left before it can be submitted for approval. God has already proven Himself faithful in many ways and has confirmed this call on our lives. We recently attended a domestic adoption conference where we participated in informational sessions and heard from a birth mother and adoptive parents. The theme or title of the conference was ‘Established in Love: Ephesians 3:14-8’. We trust that God has adopted us, as believers, into His family and we are his children and heirs with Christ. Our desire is to share this with the child that we bring into our home and we pray that he or she will not only be a part of our earthly family but they will know God as their heavenly Father and be fellow heirs with Christ. Please pray that we will trust God during this journey and be content during the waiting period and ultimately, that God will be glorified.” – Barthelemy Family

The shoes will bless people all over the world, empowering micro enterprise business programs in Haiti and other third world countries through Funds2Orgs, and the Barthelemy’s will receive funds for their adoption. Sounds like an awesome win-win for everybody!!
