Camping week will be here before you know it! Register your family now to join us for a meal, a night or multiple nights!
Camping week will start Friday, May 25, 2018, and end Sunday, June 2, 2018, at Oak Mountain State Park. Site numbers A35-43 have been booked close together and we will share all common meals on one of these sites.
Please note that your registration will not be completed until payment has been received.
You can mail a check to Grace Klein Community, 1678 Montgomery Hwy, #104, Birmingham, AL 35216 or, to pay via PayPal, click HERE.
For each night you wish to book, please contribute $35 per family, per night. If your family exceeds four, please add an additional $5 per person, per night. If coming as a single, sleeping in your own tent, please contribute $20 per night. Then, you may add extra if you feel led to donate towards food, drinks and paper products etc.
We will plan unique meals every evening, salads, dips and sandwiches for lunches and a mix of hot and cold meals for breakfast options. As a frame of reference, some meals we’ve shared in the past include: fishfrys, kabobs, grilled chicken, shrimp and grits, hamburgers and hotdogs, grilled veggies etc. We eat good!
Each family/tent, will be asked to prepare a meal and clean up during camping week. Everyone jump in and help to make camping week fun for all. If you have snacks, paper products, ice and drinks to share, please bring them along to contribute.
In the registration form below, please let us know which dates you and your family will be camping and/or eating at the camp site, what food items you will be contributing towards the meals, and if your family requires any gear for camping that you do not have. If you don’t wish to camp that’s no problem, you can come out and enjoy the day and share meals with us. Please let us know if you plan to come, but do not plan to camp, so that we can ensure we have sufficient food for all attendees.
We will keep you updated on further details as time approaches. Please commit so that we can reserve sites and plan activities and meals. In the past our activities have included: night hiking, star gazing, team workouts, canoeing, fishing, communion, worship, prayer, swimming, biking etc. You’ll have a blast!
