Exciting news which both humbles and challenges me—I have the incredible opportunity to travel to Jeffrey’s Bay, South Africa, as part of a team of Birmingham men and women leaders to invest in and empower others through faith, leadership, and relational connection. From July 11 – August 4, two teams will be serving alongside Grace Klein Community’s Global Partner, Beats and Books, participating in an Educators Conference, Youth Conference, Business as Mission Conference, Women’s Empowerment Conference and other transformative initiatives.
Our time will be spent hosting workshops, mentorship sessions, and discussions on leadership, resilience, business as mission, and faith. We’ll speak on panels, lead networking events, and engage in deep conversations around topics such as sacred rest, overcoming obstacles, and walking in wisdom and grace. Additionally, we will connect with students, educators, and professionals through conferences, ministry opportunities, and cultural exchanges to foster lasting impact.
The experience isn’t just about what we bring, it’s about what we will learn and bring back home. As we invest in the lives of South African men and women, we are also strengthening our Birmingham community, creating a ripple effect of unity and empowerment to transcend borders.
From a heart of collaboration, our team of 16 is raising $80,000 ($5,000 per team member) to cover flights, lodging, transportation, meals, event expenses, and a contribution to bless our hosts at Beats and Books.
Would you consider partnering with us? Whether through an individual donation or corporate sponsorship, your support will directly impact the lives of men and women seeking strength, wisdom, and encouragement.

Most importantly, we ask for your prayers— our hope is to serve with humility, boldness, and love to inspire lasting transformation in ourselves, in South African men and women and in our fellow Birmingham brothers and sisters. We believe a world where we become friends with people who think, look, live and believe differently than us represents the way of Jesus.
Thank you for believing in our shared vision. Your generosity and encouragement mean the world.
With gratitude,
Grace Klein Community
