Fundraising Efforts – Guatemala Trip 2015

In an effort to raise support for our mission trip to Guatemala, we were able to raise money through many ways but with a lot of support coming from two events – Guatemala Night and Parents’ Night Out. In both of these events, we saw God’s sovereignty and provisions. We are so grateful for all the support we received both monetarily and spiritually.

  • IMG_8762Guatemala Night: It was an evening of prayer and fellowship at Seeds Coffee (who graciously provided their venue for our fundraiser.) Two of our youngest team members gave testimony about God’s work in Guatemala. In addition, we replicated a bit of our Christmas celebrations in Guatemala that night with a Piñata.
  • Parents’ Night Out: About 35 kids were able to attend our Parents’ Night Out. We played games, watched movies and ate some pizzas. This was all made possible because Philadelphia Baptist church allowed us to use their facility. We are hopeful that we can do more events like this next year as it was very well received.

It is hard to believe we leave for Guatemala in less than 10 days! There are still opportunities to give. We would love help to sponsor a Piñata while we are down there or fund a celebration meal. Please reach out to Allison if you’d like to help in this way: [email protected].
