When deciding whether to pursue an internship with Grace Klein Community, hearing from those who have been there before can be invaluable. Ann McIntosh, a previous intern, shares her heartwarming experience working with GKC.
“My time interning at Grace Klein Community was very impactful on my life. Not knowing much about GKC before beginning to volunteer for them, I was absolutely blown away by all the work that was done. I would often leave these days feeling so humbled and immensely grateful for how blessed I am.
I had the opportunity to both assist in the office and be a part of the drive-through and pop-up events. It was an absolute joy to pray with people who were coming to receive a food box.
I loved getting to hear people’s stories and hearing praise reports when I saw people repeatedly! I met so many amazing people during my weeks at Grace Klein, and this has really influenced my perspective on life.
Grace Klein is such a special place. I love how it truly feels like one big family. Jesus family!
Grace Klein was an amazing place for me to intern because of my heart for serving others, sharing the love of Christ, and being able to distribute food. I am forever changed because of my time spent here!”
