The celebration created beautiful memories and highlighted the joy found in celebrating each milestone in our children’s lives.
Kwathu School 3rd Graduation Ceremony
On November 7th, Kwathu School proudly celebrated its third Graduation Ceremony, marking an important milestone for Grade 7 learners who successfully completed their academic journey. The school also joyfully welcomed a new Grade 1 class into the Kwathu School family.
The celebration included dancing, laughter, and heartfelt performances. Learners presented poems and choreographed dances that brought smiles to everyone in attendance, creating a memorable and inspiring day for the entire school community.
Partnership
In preparation for Christmas celebrations serving more than 700 children, Kwathu was grateful to partner with the local company Trade Kings Group. The partnership played an important role in spreading joy and creating a meaningful festive experience for the children.
Christmas Donation
During November, funds were successfully raised for Christmas presents and food for a Christmas party serving more than 700 children from Kwathu Home, Kwathu School, and surrounding communities. Following the fundraising efforts, purchasing and packing began in preparation for the celebration. Gratitude is lifted to God for faithful provision throughout the process.
Community Outreach
At Kwathu, true change begins with emotional well-being. In Senkobo village, many women face challenges including marital struggles, addiction, financial hardship, and emotional pain. Through the Community Mental Health Program, approximately 45 women gathered in a safe space for healing and growth.
Sessions focused on stress management, self-care, building self-esteem, resilience, and healthy coping strategies, offering hope and encouragement within the community.
