Thanks to 90 amazing individuals and families, Evan and his parents received an amazing surprise for his 33rd birthday. Guess how much was raised for our brother Evan one $33 puzzle piece at a time??!!
$18,724.19… in three weeks…yes!! $18,724.19… some of which has ALREADY been used to cover medical expenses for Evan and will continue to help him for the coming months.
Our goal was $16,500 and because of the amazing friends and families who showed the LOVE, we blew past that goal!! If you gave towards this special birthday surprise, for every $33 you gave, you have a piece in this puzzle. Because we HAD to give Evan a challenging puzzle, for that brain of his, (and some anonymous giving) some of the puzzle pieces are still blank. If you want your name on this puzzle, you still can get in on the fun and the memories.

As you can imagine, the Moon family was in absolute shock over the generosity of so many friends and family from all around the world. Your giving has provided “a puzzle piece” of mind in a very stressful financial time. Every dollar given is held in reserve for Evan’s necessary expenses – health insurance, co-pays, medication, medical bills, etc. – all relative to his battle against BRAIN CANCER. Grace Klein Community pays the bills as incurred on behalf of Evan Moon.
A huge praise… Evan read this birthday note aloud and without help! Reading is hard, but he did it, even the numbers!! His parents, in shock, even interrupted and asked, “did he read those numbers right?!”
A big happy birthday to Evan. Love, Everybody!
From the Moons:
“Thank you to everyone who made it possible through prayer and contribution for Evan and family to make it through the beginning of a new year. Our challenges were physical and financial and our strength came from so many wonderful people and the Grace Klein Community family.
Friends from North Carolina drove 6 hours to come help improve some of the cars the Moons are trying to sell. They are excellent welders and shared their skills with the Moons. Talk about an active Moonbeam!
