BIRTHDAYS- In October, we celebrated the birthdays of our four children. Rhodia turned 19, Salifyanji turned 4, Lackson turned 9, and Alex turned 10 years old. The entire household came together to make the celebrations exciting, happy, and joyful for our children.

KWATHU SCHOOL

We are thrilled to share that Kwathu School is reaching a significant milestone as they embark on their inaugural grade seven final examinations! This momentous occasion commenced on the memorable date of October 30th, 2023, and will conclude on November 2nd, 2023. The entire Kwathu community, from students to teachers, is buzzing with excitement and anticipation. This tremendous achievement serves as a testament to the school’s unwavering commitment to providing high quality education to its students. Not only is this a cause for celebration within the school, but also for the Kwathu Ministry, as their efforts and dedication have played an integral role in this accomplishment. Best of luck to all the students participating in this landmark examination – may their hard work and perseverance elevate them to new heights of success!

TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATIONS

On October 5th, 2023, Kwathu School participated in the global celebration of Teacher’s Day. This special day is dedicated to honoring and appreciating the hard work and dedication of teachers around the world. Kwathu School joined the rest of the world in expressing gratitude towards teachers for their valuable contributions to education. It was a joyous occasion that recognized the significant role that teachers play in shaping and enriching the lives of students.

EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Kwathu School recently held a fun fair day, providing a variety of games, entertainment, and lighthearted moments for everyone to enjoy. The event was a great success, bringing smiles to the faces of all who attended.

KWATHU HOME

Kwathu Children’s Home proudly joined the global community in celebrating and observing the International Day of the Girl Child. This day is significant as it allows us to acknowledge and honor the importance of girls’ education, their rights, and the promotion of gender equality.

PURITY CLASS

We are incredibly proud of our Grade 7 graduates from the purity class! It is a testament to their commitment to live a life of Christian virtue that they have been presented with Holy Bibles. We are thankful to Aunty Monde for her unwavering dedication to this important class. Her guidance has been instrumental in helping our teens stay focused on living a life of true Christian values and staying away from anything that is contrary to those values. We are confident that the lessons learned in the purity class will help our teens make sound moral decisions and live a life of integrity.

INDEPENDENCE DAY

On October 24th, 2023, Kwathu joined the rest of the country in celebrating Independence Day. It was a day filled with festivities and patriotism as the nation reflected on its history and freedom. People came together to commemorate this significant event and honor their heritage. It was a proud moment for Kwathu as they celebrated their independence along with the entire country.

KWATHU CULTURAL DAY

On cultural day at Kwathu School, students and teachers celebrated the diversity and richness of different cultures. The event was filled with various activities including traditional dances, music performances, art exhibitions, and food stalls offering cuisines from different countries. Students were encouraged to wear traditional clothing representing their heritage. The day was not only a great way to showcase and appreciate different cultures, but also a chance for students to learn and gain a deeper understanding of the world around them. Overall, cultural day at Kwathu School was a fun and educational event that embraced and celebrated diversity.

KWATHU FARM

A fish harvest recently occurred at Kwathu Farm. The farm has decided that all the proceeds from selling the fish will go towards improving the Kwathu home and the farm itself.

WORLD FARMER’S DAY

On World Farmer’s Day, Kwathu Farm joined the global community in celebrating this significant occasion. This day is dedicated to recognizing the immense contributions of farmers worldwide to food production and sustenance. Kwathu Farm is proud to be a part of this virtuous profession and shares the same commitment to providing nutritious and fresh produce to the community. By commemorating World Farmer’s Day, Kwathu Farm acknowledges the hard work and dedication of farmers in ensuring food security and appreciates the interconnectedness and unity of farmers across the world.
