Reflections from a GKC Donor

“Biblegateway.com uses the title ‘They Had Everything in Common’ to describe Acts 4:32.  ‘Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common. Acts 4:32’

Grace Klein Community (GKC) is consistent with our belief that nothing we have is our own, but instead is a gift from God, to be used for His glory and His people.  When people ask me, “What does GKC do?” it is always very difficult to answer. Because GKC does whatever is needed at the time to be the hands and feet of Christ on earth.  GKC is a body of believers, sharing consistently of their time and their treasure to care for the less fortunate (Matthew 25:35) to care for widows and orphans (James 1:27), and to be the body of Christ to one another through prayer, encouragement and community service.  We have complete trust in the leaders and board of directors for GKC, to direct our financial support to meet the most urgent need.  We trust them so completely, because we know their hearts; we ‘do life’ with them and we see their honesty, their integrity and their willingness to give the shoes off their own feet (both literally and figuratively).”
