On February 21, 2017, Grace Klein Community had the honor of participating in the Southeastern Bible College (SEBC) Mission Conference. The focus of the conference was Business as Mission. Many local ministries were present for a special luncheon and networking session. Grace Klein Community had the opportunity of setting up a table highlighting the local efforts of Grace Klein Community and sharing with students how they can get involved in serving opportunities. Over the course of 3 hours, Scott Elliott, Grace Klein Community’s Director of Ministry and Business Development, was able to speak with around 30 people, many of whom he had never met before.
At lunch, Scott had the opportunity of meeting Jordan Self, an SEBC alumni, and it turned out they have a mutual friend in common. They enjoyed catching up, sharing stories about their friend Adam and how he has ministered and impacted both their lives, and also about where God has them both today. The conference provided a great venue to meet new people, share a meal, and hear what God is doing all over the city and the world.
