Life is becoming a wild and crazy blur for the ministry staff of Grace Klein Community. Everything is growing faster than we could have hoped for or imagined and we need volunteers to help us accomplish more in our community and around the world. We need help to keep us from drowning with all the responsibilities that overflow from our plates.
The GKC trade market is growing and every day we need help with organization, sorting, preserving, and cleanliness at the Grace Klein Community office.
Come grab some fresh produce to take home to preserve, make some frozen ready-to-eat meals to restock the Grace Klein Community freezer, sweep the floors, clean out the fridges, sort food and clothing donations, weed the community garden, feed the chickens, etc. Maybe you would adopt your child’s school’s teacher break room and take a platter of goodies once a week to love on the people who are educating our future.
Or, you love social media and you can help by sharing our posts and making noise about upcoming community events. You can also help recruit sponsors for events, engage businesses in canned food drives for Grace Klein Community and gather door prizes for upcoming events. Maybe you like to write articles for newspaper articles, magazines and websites to help us share what we do and how community can become involved. Or maybe you want to write encouraging emails to community friends, send thank you notes or help with filing. All ways you can serve from the convenience of your own home.
Volunteer times at the Grace Klein Community office:
Mondays: 7:00am – 4:30pm
Tuesdays: 7:00am – 4:30pm
Wednesdays: 7:00am – 4:30pm
Thursdays: 7:00am – 4:30pm
Fridays: 7:00am – 4:30pm
Sundays: 12pm – 2pm
Come serve for 30 mins during your lunch hour, for a couple of hours or for an entire day. We are open to the flexibility of your schedule. If you prefer a different time, let us know the date and time you wish to serve and we will work to accommodate your schedule.

Or what about helping with our monthly food delivery ministry one Saturday a month. Come fill the fresh produce into the boxes, help load the boxes into volunteer cars and pray for the volunteers before they head out to serve. Commit to deliver to some families yourself that you have the privilege to befriend as you get to know them month after month.

Most of all, we need you to pray. The most faithful volunteers pray. Pray for the families we are serving together. Pray for meaningful relationships. Pray for community events. Pray for the Monday night and Wednesday night prayer and Bible study gatherings. Pray for the Family Fun Nights and Festivals. Pray for the friends that serve our community with rescued food. Pray for our policeman, fireman and teachers. Pray for our health care workers. Pray for the volunteers who serve at the office and in the comfort of their own homes. Pray for our community house. Pray for our finances. Pray for the provision of the community garden and chicken eggs. Pray for Love Does to spread all through our community. Pray for our global partners and our missionaries. Pray for staff support for their salaries. Pray for Jesus to move so mightily through our serving that people know Him in deep intimate ways. Pray that we all remain hidden in Christ so when people think of Grace Klein Community, they think of Jesus.
