Samford University Internship Program

  • by

On March 7, 2019, the Samford University College of Health and Sciences spoiled Natalie Spronk and Jenny Waltman by including us in a Field Instructors Luncheon. We were then provided the opportunity to share about Grace Klein Community at Samford University’s Social Work Field Site Fair.

Look at our joyful intern, Cassidy Clevenger sporting a new outfit from our Give and Take Room, representing the beautiful concept of sharing. She will be completing her year internship with us in April 2019. We will try to find words later as we are not ready for goodbyes.

Grace Klein Community, Inc. is recruiting new interns for the next school year. If you know anyone that is looking for a non-paid internship, we ask that you refer them to our organization. We are also praying for Samford University to assign us two interns for the next calendar year. We are honored to be one of the organizations Samford University chooses to partner with for internship placements.

Cassidy’s time with us has changed her career trajectory and we would love to invest in many students behind her. Social work careers are demanding as the need never stops and it is exciting to walk alongside students as they pursue careers in social services.
