“Back to School” Drive

Before Grace Klein Community could announce this year’s “back to school” drive hosted by Precision Chiropractic of Alabama, volunteer and friend, Diana Martin, purchased various school supplies while items were BOGO at Publix this month, and immediately messaged Grace Klein Community excited to encourage others to do that same, to love on the less fortunate, while the specials were still available.

To be honest, with No More Safety Pins, monthly food delivery preparations, daily food rescue, volunteer coordination, and various other projects underway, our intention to host and promote a school supply drive was on the back burner, and we needed the sweet reminder from Diana to get the ball rolling. Her excitement to care for others is infectious and her heart for those in need continues to encourage others to give from their overflow.

A few days later, full time volunteer, Natalie Spronk, received numerous emails from single mamas, missionary families and foster parents in their utmost vulnerability sharing about their struggles and desperate need for school supplies for the next year.

In awe of Father God and His timing in all things, He even brought Shelby County Dentistry on board, partnering with Precision Chiropractic and Grace Klein Community, to host school supply drives supporting children in need. Kingdom purpose is a beautiful thing.
